Our Story

After traveling the world for decades, our founder, Allan Daly, wanted something different from the refrigerated grab and go food case. Year after year, in airport after airport, he saw the same sandwiches, salads, wraps, and yogurt parfaits. While working in food safety in the Peruvian Andes region of South America, Allan was in awe at the birthplace of the potato and the different ways locals prepared them. 

 

It was a result of those work and travel experiences in Peru that led him to create the Crush Bowl. Allan then tested the flavors and concept for almost two years at his quick service restaurant in San Jose, Costa Rica that he owned and operated, called Papa Crush.
